What Excel to PDF does

This tool turns your spreadsheet into a PDF you can share, print or archive — without opening Excel. Drop in an .xlsx, .xls or .csv file and every sheet is laid out as a clean table: the first row is shaded as a header and repeats at the top of each page, columns are spaced to fit, and long tables flow across as many pages as they need. It reads the cell values exactly as they display, so dates, currencies and numbers come through the way you formatted them. It is built for anyone who needs to send a spreadsheet to someone who does not have Excel, attach a price list or report to an email, or freeze a snapshot of the numbers as a document.

Be clear on what it does: it converts the data, not the visual styling. You get a tidy, legible table of your values, not a pixel copy of Excel’s colors and charts.

How to use it

  1. Drag your Excel or CSV file onto the drop zone, or click to pick it from your device.
  2. Press Convert. The tool reads every sheet and builds the PDF on the spot.
  3. Download your PDF — each sheet is a titled, paginated table, ready to email or print.

Wide sheets automatically use landscape pages, and each sheet keeps its name as a heading when the workbook has more than one.

Frequently asked questions

Which spreadsheet formats can I convert?
Modern Excel workbooks (.xlsx), older Excel files (.xls) and comma-separated files (.csv). Each sheet in the workbook is placed on its own set of pages, in order.
Does it keep my Excel colors, charts and formatting?
No — this tool converts the data, not the styling. It reads the cell values (text, numbers, dates as they display) and lays them out as a clean, readable table that fits the page and paginates automatically. Charts, cell colors and merged-cell art are not reproduced. For pixel-perfect formatting, print to PDF from Excel itself.
What happens to a very wide sheet?
Sheets with many columns automatically switch to landscape pages, and long cell text is trimmed with an ellipsis so columns stay aligned and legible. Up to 30 columns are shown.
Are my spreadsheets uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole conversion runs in your browser on your own device, so your data never leaves your computer — safe for financial models, price lists or anything confidential.
My sheet has thousands of rows — will it all convert?
The tool converts worksheets to PDF using a simplified layout. Complex formatting, formulas, charts, and page settings may not match a desktop spreadsheet application exactly.
