Drop pages you don’t need from a PDF

Remove PDF Pages takes a single PDF and deletes the exact pages you name, then hands you a clean copy to download. It is handy for cutting a blank scan, a cover sheet, an internal note, or a stray ad page before you send a document to someone. Because the whole job happens inside your browser, it works on a school laptop, a phone, or a locked-down work machine without installing anything.

How to use it

  1. Drag your PDF onto the drop zone, or click to pick a file. Only one PDF at a time.
  2. In the Pages to remove field, type the page numbers you want gone. Pages count from 1. Use commas for separate pages (2,4) and a hyphen for a span (5-8), or mix both (1,3,10-12).
  3. Click Remove Pages. The tool rebuilds the PDF without those pages.
  4. Download the trimmed file. Your original is untouched.

A quick tip: if a number falls outside the document, it is simply ignored, so you don’t have to be exact about the last page. Just remember you cannot strip out every page, since a PDF needs at least one to stay valid.

Why do it here

It is fast because nothing has to travel to a server and back. You pick the pages, the file is rewritten on the spot, and the download is ready in a moment. It is private for the same reason: the PDF is read and saved locally, which matters for contracts, statements, medical forms, and anything you would not email to a stranger. And it is free with no account, no watermark, and no daily cap.

Working through a big stack of documents that all need the same pages pulled? The desktop app BulkPro, from the same team, handles that kind of repetitive batch editing in one pass.

Frequently asked questions

How do I tell the tool which pages to remove?
Type the page numbers in the "Pages to remove" box, counting from 1. Use commas for single pages (2,4,9) and a hyphen for a range (5-8). You can mix them, like 1,3,10-12. Everything else in the PDF is kept.
Can I remove a range of pages at once?
Yes. Enter a range with a hyphen, for example 5-8 to drop pages 5 through 8. Combine ranges and single pages in one go, such as 2,5-8,15.
Are my PDF files uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool opens and rewrites the PDF entirely in your browser using local JavaScript. The file never leaves your device, so private and confidential documents stay private.
Why does it say I can't remove every page?
A PDF needs at least one page to be valid, so the tool blocks a request that would delete all of them. Leave at least one page out of your remove list and it will run fine.
